nostalgia...

The other day I was humming some old telugu song... I dont know why I remembered that song at that instant... I felt very nostalgic at that moment...
Its the song sung by a mother to her kid who is just 1-2 years old.
The first two lines of the song are as follows...
" edagaalani enduku raa tondara
edigithe brathukanta chindara vandara..."

These two lines have a very beautiful meaning...
" why are you hurrying to grow up...
if you grow up life is full of disturbances"
( i am not getting the right word for the last telugu word)

Whatever she said is perfectly true...

Deepa,

Man's height of foolishness appears here.. I will give my reasoning for this.

When we are at the age of 10 years (5th class) we used to see different things with our elder brother or elder sister and think if we grew little to that age then we can have all those things (calculator etc) and live easy life, when we come to that age we think of being more and want to pass this life. This keep happening in life. In Engineering we think , if I have participated in sports, dance etc in school life.. I would have done great job in college. And Once we are at the age of 20 say engg final year and exams over..supposed to join the company .. we are so eager to join .. Once we join, we realize the golden age is over.. working under boss, we feel those days will never come back. MBA may be something which brings back that hope(If you are so frustrated). So at the age of 20-30 where you are no less than an indomitable power .. if you want to pass this time which you dreamed of in the past and which you cherish in the future .. there is no more stupidity than that. And we are doing that. Thats why Einstein once said "There are two things in the world which are infinite, one is the Universe and the other is human stupidity .. and I am not sure about the former". So, stop thinking of future or past , start living the present.
